Dr. Christopher Solek

Christopher Solek is a biologist specializing in wetland monitoring and assessment. He received his B.S. in Wildlife Biology from the University of California, Davis in 1992, a M.S. in Biological Sciences from California State Polytechnic University Pomona in 2002, and a Ph.D. in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management from the University of California, Berkeley in 2008. He joined SCCWRP in April 2007 and is currently involved with developing and implementing monitoring/assessment programs in southern California, with a focus on development of rapid assessment methods for arid, ephemeral streams. He also serves as the southern California liaison for the Level 2 subcommittee of the California Wetland Monitoring Workgroup.
