Dr. Kerry Ritter
Kerry Ritter is an environmental statistician whose interests include ecological sampling in marine and freshwater systems, response design, development of pollution indicators, and spatial mapping of aquatic resources. She received her BA in mathematics from the University of California at San Diego, her MS in mathematics from University of California at Irvine, and her Ph.D. in statistics from Oregon State University. Kerry joined SCCWRP in April 2001. Her present research focuses on the creating more cost-effective sampling strategies and the use of spatial models to map biological and chemical indicators of disturbance in coastal waters.
